Director, sounding board and connector.

Results. Not reports.

Senior interim management, direction and commercial training. With a beginning and an end.

Alexander Kuijt, founder of Astralboost

I'm Alexander. I get companies moving.

I help companies tighten their processes, get their finances healthy and make their growth predictable. A new style of director: I connect people, advise where it helps and take the helm where it's needed.

Twenty years in complex infrastructure, responsible for over 125 people and more than €72 million in revenue. No agency, no juniors. You get me. And I'm your sounding board as a director, because you don't reach altitude alone. You build it together.

What I help with

Three things in order. Then growth is no longer left to chance.

Processes that run

The bottleneck out, ownership in. Every action an owner, every meeting an outcome.

Finances that add up

Cost-aware working, grip on the numbers and periodic reporting that sticks.

Growth that isn't luck

The right people in the right seats and priorities from the purpose, so every choice serves revenue.

Services

Three ways to bring me in. With a beginning and an end.

No report from a distance. I step in myself and stay until it works.

01

Interim management. I take the helm until it runs again.

An interim director who steps in: six to eighteen months, fully accountable from day one. I make sure it runs, also when I'm gone.

  • Accountable at director or management level
  • Steering on P&L, planning, quality and people
  • Leading teams, assigning ownership
  • Contract expertise (UAV, UAV-GC) for infrastructure and construction
02

Direction. In four weeks you know what's holding back growth.

Not every question needs an interim director. Sometimes a sharp outside view is enough. I expose the real bottlenecks and come with choices, not non-committal recommendations.

  • The real bottlenecks on the table
  • A 90-day execution plan
  • An owner on every action
  • KPIs in a weekly rhythm
03

Commercial training. Behaviour that still works on Monday.

In-company or at an external location, teams of 8 to 12, built around your own cases.

SalesFrom prospect to deal: qualifying, discovery and closing.
Negotiation IThe fundamentals, including defending your price with value. Two days plus a return session.
Negotiation IIComplex deals and heavy price pressure, practised with actors. Two days, return session after six weeks.
Coaching leadershipLeading with questions instead of answers. Optionally practised with actors.

Executive sparring

You know where you want to go. Your team doesn't yet. Executive sparring helps you close that gap: building the right team and getting it moving. 1:1, after an intake, with leadership proven in large organisations. And a sounding board for the conversations you'd rather avoid.

Approach

What an engagement looks like. From question to momentum.

More revenue, tighter processes, grip on the finances or simply more focus: every engagement starts with a question like that. I come to get your company moving. First sharpen where the gains are, then accelerate, and I only leave when your team carries it themselves. Because most engagements don't fail on the plan, but on execution.

Day 1

Step in. Immediately.

On the first day I don't schedule a meeting. I step in. Together we set the goals and measure where you stand. By the end of the week there's something to react to. That alone brings calm.

Week 2 to 4

Sharpen.

I talk to your people, stand on the floor and look for the bottleneck holding back your growth. It rarely sits where everyone points. Sometimes it's a sacred cow no one touches. Sometimes it's the big oak overshadowing everything, so the rest never grows. I name it, even when it's uncomfortable, and I check whether the right people are in the right seats. Then I put a decision in front of you, not a report. And I'm your sounding board just before you make a big call.

Month 2

Accelerate.

A plan is only worth something once it runs. We set priorities from the purpose, so every choice serves revenue. Every action an owner, every KPI a rhythm. Meanwhile we get the finances in order: cost-aware, with periodic reporting that sticks. You notice it first in your team. Then in the numbers.

Month 3

On its own strength.

The goal isn't for me to stay. The goal is that it works when I'm gone. I hand it over to your own people, and what remains is a company that keeps growing on its own.

Recognise this? Then we should talk. Get in touch.

Contact

One conversation is usually enough to know if it fits.

Call or message me. No sales pitch, just an honest picture of where the gains are and whether I'm the right person for it.
